Michele Neal CPM, LM

Licensed Midwife

Thirty years of service

Michele Neal has been in practice with the homebirth community for 3 decades, and the Bitteroot, Missoula, and Flathead Valley for the last 5 years. She holds a Midwifery License #2 from the State of Montana and is certified with the North American Registry of Midwives as a Certified Professional Midwife.

You have choices

A planned homebirth with a trained midwife is the perfect choice if you want to avoid unnecessary medical intervention. Midwives are experts in supporting the physiological birth process: monitoring you and your baby during pregnancy and labor, helping you into positions that support progress of labor, protecting your pelvic floor from damage while pushing, and catching the baby from the position that’s most effective and comfortable for you, for example, hands and knees, squatting, standing and even birthing in the birth tub.

Michele has confidence that women can birth their babies and she will work to instill that confidence, for the women to believe in themselves.
