Michele Neal, a Licensed Midwife, has moved her practice to the Flathead area. She has been involved with the homebirth community for over three decades in the Bitterroot Valley and Missoula area. She holds Midwifery License #2 from the State of Montana and is certified with the North American Registry of Midwives as a Certified Professional Midwife.
As a homebirth midwife, she specializes in care that normalizes pregnancy and natural birth at home. Family oriented and personalized prenatal care in your home creates an environment of respect, attention, support, trust, confidence, understanding and comfort.

A planned homebirth with a trained midwife is the perfect choice if you want to avoid unnecessary medical intervention. Midwives are experts in supporting the physiological birth process: monitoring you and your baby during pregnancy and labor, helping you into positions that support progress of labor, protecting your pelvic floor from damage while pushing, and catching the baby from the position that's most effective and comfortable for you, for example, hands and knees, squatting, standing and even birthing in the birth tub.
